Originally from Nebraska, Kay Borgelt specializes in musical entertainment through a variety of genres including classics, oldies, jazz. ballads, R&B, country, patriotic songs, holiday songs and more, singing favorite hits from the 1920s to the present. The singer performs music for any venue: private parties (i.e., birthdays, anniversaries, holidays), dinner parties, private events, corporate events, music festivals, etc.

After receiving her Master of Science Degree in Education, Kay spent most of her career as a foreign language teacher. Having been surrounded by music all of her life, Kay has written and performed a variety of music as well as created a music-and-language teaching program. She realized that singing professionally was exactly what she wanted to do for the next chapter along her journey.

Kay spent many years using her talents teaching music to others. She plays a variety of instruments, including baritone ukulele and flute. While living in Florida, she was a member of the Choral Society of the Palm Beaches. She looks forward to sharing her love of music with others via performing.

Kay holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education, a Spanish Education Endorsement as well as a Master of Science Degree in Education/ Instructional Technology. She has taught elementary education, as well as high school and middle school Spanish.
